Game is pimp yo.
i loved Nero both as a character, and as a playing style, but i literally jumped for joy when i could start playing as Dante again, the game shows right from the get go, that Dante is by far superior to Nero in just about every way. but doesn't make Nero look like a pussy in any respect, which is cool.
i'd have liked a bit more of an epic final battle, it kinda felt like a series of smaller battles made to look big, rather than a giant demon vs demon encounter. the first devil may cry had such an epic final boss battle, i kinda feel the other games have been lacking that.
some of the new demon designs were fantastic, and the general atmosphere of the game was great. i've just managed to finish it on normal difficulty (after starting out on easy, cos i wasn't sure how i'd cope with Nero). and i'm going on to do it on hard.
anyone else love it?
