For those that plan to attend GDC in San Francisco and have an interest in 3D painting and production pipelines, I thought I would pass this along. This session is noteworthy not only because the content could save texture artists a ton of time, but also because each attendee will have access to the project files and video tutorials from the presentation. Plus, those who the link below and register, get a free t-shirt to add to their swag stash.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Why isn't Ben posting this himself?

because he is poop in my mouth
edit: living in bavaria sucks for being artistic
they're making Golden Axe now?!
Last time I went to GDC I could only get into like 2 sessions that were avaliable?
As for him not posting it himself, I havent seen him around here since he was made over at the GA forums.
There's a few good sessions this year.
He quit polycount when some of the EA Mythic'ers went all mental on him in the P&P thread for that Dom War entry.

What sort of pass did you get? If you have a Main Pass, you should be set.

I expect this session will be worth attending. I used to work with Ben - he knows his art and is good at explaining things. I'll be surprised if you can spend an hour with Ben and avoid learning something new.
edit: nevermind, I think my sarcasm-detector is just on the blink today.
oh well, guess Im gonna miss out on this one..

Second to that.
Personally never met him, but his tutorials (Every single of them that allowed us download) are on top shelf among my Tutorial collection as I learned so many 'tricks and tips' from them. As modeler-and-texture-artist-wanna-be for myself, this would be 'MUST' session I will make.

This is direct link I found from GDC website, and Ben's session is on "Friday" not Wednesday...
Do these presentations get recorded/documented and posted up later?
Oh and you can usually download the papers/powerpoints a few months later.

Not the same as a vid, but better than nothing if you can't go.
