ok this is getting REALLY frustrating, but for some reason my mudbox 1.0.7 is fucking up my simetry , heres the process :
i import a mesh, set the topological axis in level 0 and all fine etc the axis is really good and i can do everyting as i expected. i subdivide the model and apparently it looses it and tells me to set the topological axis again ( ??? ) so i do the usual method of selecting the faces etc and it says that i need to choose adjeacent etc bullshit.
So basically if i subdivide i loose the topological axis and i cant set it :S , this is really making me suffer on my workflow
thanks in advance !

Setting it on the other level should shut his ass up, at least it worked for me sometimes...
Try getting rid of the tris and start over, unless your too advanced in detailing.
No triangles either.
I'm also having a problem where after a couple of sub-divides in mudbox, faces in certain areas go crazy and snap to the pivot.
import mesh to mudbox
export to obj
import to max or whatever you use
smooth it
and then you will see which polies need fixing
export to obj
import to mudbox
always works
