Really awesome. It's like Rez meets Wipeout meets Guitar Hero. Long as they keep the price reasonable I'll get it for sure (I'd get it now if it were out!).
i enjoyed it, but after each round it didnt feel like you accomplished anything, meanwhile something like guitar hero or rock band you feel like a superstar
yeah kinda pointless . its not actualy a rhythm game at all. the music makes the track. but the game play has nothign to do with rythym. played thru a couple tracks and was not impressed.
It really depends on the song. Some can make it really feel as if you're 'playing' the song (fast bits are fast, slow bits are slow, each blob occurs on a drum beat etc), but others can be a mess.
Yeah Rhinokey, it doesn't really work as a "Rythm" game, but it sure is a hella cool way to listen to music.
I played a bowie song where it was a steady up hill climb, with little corkscrews and then went flat for a while and did an insane drop for 2 minutes.
It was pretty sweet.
It'd be nice if the environments were a lot more varied, but i'm sure they'll make it more expansive upon release.
paul i know it uses the music to make the track and posistion the blocks. but a rythym game is something you have to have rythym to play. like pressing buttons to the rythym or something to this likeness. your movement in this is really unrelated to the music. you just move in the tracks where the blocks are. being off time does not matter. you CAN play the game by pressing at the beats. but you can also play mario like that. it makes no dif.
You really seem stuck on the word "rhythm". Yeah, it's not a rhythm game. I don't even see that word on audio-surf.com. If I could play Mario and have the levels be auto-generated to go with music tracks that would be pretty cool too. It doesn't need to be a rhythm game.

guitar hero is a rythym game.. unless you mean the fact that it has music.. which most games do.
it is a music generated puzzle racing game. puzzle. what game are you playing? and it is small fun indie game with a low price tag. this stuff needs support, not useless rambling.
lol ok got the game but then after a few songs it said the demo is finished... ok so i payed 12 bucks for playing a few songs and then creating a "account doenst seem to work... i got email about money succesefully paid from steam. otherwise i got good impressions from the game so far... hopefully i can fix this.

Daft Punk and NIN work well with this.
