turn off ICQ shortcuts?

AAAARGGGGG!!!!! How do you turn off the ICQ shortcuts in the latest version? I'm trying to work in photoshop and it keeps popping up when I use my shortcut keys.

I'm sure you've tried this already, but when googling I find one page on icq.com where it's stated you can't turn them off, and a few on Icq lite where it's explained how to turn them off there. Unless the options are in the same place for icq as they are icq lite I'd try that, and otherwise I'm afraid you'll have to downgrade?

And if we collectively don't mention ANY other software than ICQ, will you pay us all five bucks? I'm sure even the most preachy types can manage to shut up for money!

Trillian 3 has the same problem.

EQ, even if I disable the Ctrl-Shift-I hotkey, Photoshop won't invert the selection. But it does after Trillian is shutdown.

Turning off Trillian3 hotkeys works for me. You have to delete the option, not just uncheck it.

Use Trillian with an ICQ skin. It uses less system resources anyway, and there's no adds.

Just use pidgin! XD It's way better than trillian, and supports all the IM services.

"way better" is quite a pesonal thing, especially given how Pidgin doesn't have voice-chat or video. I really like it though, as it reminds me of Google Talk, which is probably the cleanest, leanest IM application around. Pidgin is easy on the system and works far, FAR better than Gaim did when I last tried it. The irc-implenentation is barebones, but then again: most people use Mirc or X-chat for that anyway.
Has anyone tried the skype plugin for pidgin?

I actually use pidgin for IRC for the most part. I used to use xchat,but its more convenient for me to use a single app.
