Why "rat"? I like the proportions but his "feet" seem too small for something without a sense of ballance.

Take it up with Ashley Wood. Personally I think it is a sassy design decision and is energetic because of the crazy imbalance. I always imagined that he had some sort of floating mechanism like anti-grav, or thrusters and those little legs just pushed him along the ground.
The only thing I see that could be fixed is the Depth of Field. I think the DOF is more distracting than it is intended to be. It makes it look like its a picture of a toy with a camera phone rather than realistic depth of field. You might want to tone down the amount of DOF you are using. I see lots of crazy detail in the model but I can't distinguish a lot of it because it's all blurred out.
Yeah... it is a photo of a toy, produced from a digital sculpt, which is why I've been posting the progress here, because, you know, I have friends that like to follow along.
During the project, the factory sends over some pictures of Bertie so that we can visually proof some things. Oddly, those pictures are often a little blurry, and poorly lit, on crazy backgrounds.
What I do then is pump them up in Photoshop, so that they are at least presentable to all the peoples who like to see sneak peeks.
