As an FX artist, you will be bringing your extensive gaming experience to the team in order to create the most innovative and imaginative FX in the gaming industry. Our client is looking for an experienced FX Artist that will be responsible for creating special effects for a next-generation console title. Ideal candidate will have experience in scripting and FX shaders. What You Will Be doing:
Create particles, geometry and textured effects to achieve the following types of effects: smoke, flashes, fire, steam, rain, and flowing water.
Work closely with scripters and designers to implement effects.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and 3ds Max. These skills are essential.
Expertise in 3d graphics, particle systems, and shaders.
Ability to adapt quickly to proprietary tools.
Salary:
$75-85K Base + Bonus + Full Benefits
Location/Relocation:
This is an onsite, fulltime position located in Santa Monica, CA. Relocation assistance WILL BE provided for candidates located within the United States.
