Jr. Animator - AAA Next-gen Gaming Co.
JUNIOR ANIMATOR
A Next-gen AAA-titled video game company in Northern California is looking for a Junior Animator to come aboard to work on their latest unannounced action title on the Xbox 360 and the PS3! As a junior animator you'll be using cutting edge hardware and software for the animation of some of the most imaginative characters with some of the most innovative minds in the industry!
What You Will Be Bringing:
At least six months of experience in character animation for games and a strong understanding of traditional animation fundamentals.
Experience using Max and Character Studio is required.
Applicants should be able to animate in a range of styles: either cartoony or real world for cutscene animation, player animation, and NPC animation.
Must have the ability to work with mocap data along with hand keyed character animations to create compelling in game actions as well as cinematic cutscenes.
Strong technical skills a big plus.
Location/Relocation:
This is a 7-8 month contract position located in San Francisco, CA. Relocation assistance WILL NOT be provided for candidates located within the United States; local candidates preferred.
