I hate placeholder threads, but figured I'd make one so that way I'd have to make something.
Looking for reference material at the moment, may have to pick up the PC copy of Gears to load the model into the editor.

Okay, 30mins of modeling during lunch going from memory of what a Boomer looks like. Just at the end of lunch, a dude at work pointed out that I have my copy of d'artist: character modeling 2 sitting on my desk with orthographic concept art and the high poly sculpted mesh of the Boomer character! *slaps head*
Didn't think I did too badly just going from memory. Still need to tweak the crap out of the proportions and redistribute some of the polys better, but I should have the character modeled and unwrapped by tonight. Will have his weapon done too hopefully. BOOM!
I got home later than I had expected so I could only do some minor updates to the model.
Adjusted most of the proportions, tweaked the boots, knocked a few details into the head, optimized a few areas. Need to finish the hands and arms and do a once over on the model.
Still need to make a start on the gun as well.
