Are you going to do the DMC3 or DMC4 version of dante?
Cause in that screenshot there he is wearing his #3 outfit, in 4 he has a new one. Both are awesome
- Left arm on screen is something like sub-weapon in game, do you think I can use the weapon polycount for that? (I use that for his sword too... maybe guns.. x_X)
- About texture, We can use 128 Diffuse + 128 Opacity? Or I must choose one between this 2 choices?
- for shading, 2 sided polygons is accepted?
nice! Sword is looking especially solid. The green glint/highlight is pwn. I would say the skin should have a little more color, but he's all pasty and bland in the official pics too so... I guess that's japan's bad there.
Maybe you're being impatient, animated gifs are sluggish at first but once all the frames are loaded, the animation is smooth, the animation looks fine to me, if a little asthmatic
Awesome!
Possibly the slow "lagging" gif you're seeing, is because you're viewing it for the first time online, and it's downloading each frame? I get that when it first loads, but when it has all the frames it's fast and smooth.
Last screens for this character, it was very interesting, I learned to work with pixels on a character, and to do hair with alpha pixel! crazy experience
Sooo cool. The texture is awesome, especially the sword - very inspirational use of colour and highlights. The model rocks hard as well.
The only critique I can think up is that some generel light information - ie lighter at the top and darker at the buttom - would make the piece pop better and help make the details more visible at a distance. But this is obviously a tricky part as it could as well make the model look wrong in game lighting.
O, and nice animations. Low poly models somehow look much less low poly when animated.

- Weapon : 135
Very hard challenge, pixel may cry too
I continu the weapon now, while critic come... I hope...
Someone knows why my animation is slow? Because with ImageReady speed is nice... Or maybe another making for animated *.gif?
Bitchin sword!
yeah image ready is pretty crap at animated gifs.
try gif movie gear instead, i think they have a 30 days trial.
