LPC #05 - RazorBladder - Elcor

I want IN on this one!
I can't recall that many next-gen characters that I love that haven't already been nabbed, so I've decided to do the wonderful Eeyore-like Elcor aliens from Mass Effect.



10 minute WIP just to get something down.

Good start so far. It's great to see some Mass Effect love going on here, I just finished my first play through today and can't wait to do it all again . I'm really looking forward to your progress.

Here's an update, standing at 490 polys.

Started on texturing with one of the worst UVs ever

Whole texture base is down!
Now it's just a matter of tweaking...

Looks very cool.
Just needs a bit more saturation in the flesh I think, in the shadows, and a bit more highlighting, then he'll be sorted!

Eclipse

Your eyes look much to big and the skin color looks off. Stilll nice work so far man, looking really ace.

Nabbed MoP's pimp layout for a render, for some reason I can't get my specular maps to show in real-time within the viewports even when having the DX Material enabled, I've not done this in a while so perhaps I'm missing something.
