ya, dismemberment would be awesome, but I understand why they didn't do it. However, that last video did show some slashing, so at least I CAN use my lightsaber for more than deflecting blasters.
WTF did they do to that Rancor!? It looks like he's got leprecy or something!

There's dismemberment in Lego Star Wars though...

But in that games defense there really isn't. The lego parts just break apart. If you drop a lego guy he will fall apart. If you drop a baby their head will have a huge dent.

Yeah probably not the best. I still really enjoyed running around as Chewie ripping random characters arms off though...the ones that had arms at least...
LucasArts needs to put up some more concept art (preferably some model sheets) of the Secret Apprentice so I can have an easier time working on my low poly challenge entry.
I was discusing his today with some fellow artists today, and it seems even tho there was dismemberment in Jedi Knight II, the ESRB rules have changed alot since then.. so thats why its so tought to try do these kind of things, not to mention that its an election year and all that jazz.
What you working on there Asherr?

Yeah, there was a cheat to enable dismemberment in, i think, Jedi Knight 2 and Jedi academy... and it surewas fun
