Maya Training Recommendations

Hey guys,
I need some recommendations for Maya training Dvd's or other useful sources. Clearly there are a decent amount of Gnomon Dvds available but what other resources are out there?

I've been using Max and if theres a good resource that can help ease the transition I'd love to know about it.

Ok I cant find anything that matches the Max Arch Rotate subject option.
In Maya I know I can press f and focus on an area but in max I simply select a different edge/face and my rotation arch is changed determined by the selection.
Does anyone know how to match this?
Any help is apprecaited
