Max no longer loads

Every time I try to run max lately, the splash screen comes up, and it looks like it's loading normally, but then it just dissapears, and the program does not open...I've tried everything I could think of, including reinstalling the software... The weird thing is, I was using it earlier today, and had no problems, and I have not installed anything new today either.

has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it? Thanks

So I noticed it kept getting hung up on biped.dlc, so I removed that file and max loads just fine


of course now I can't use the biped, but it's better than nothing
