Anyone else getting slammed with this big west coast storm? We had 70mph winds and 1" of rain last night and they're expecting up to or over 1ft of snow in the valley floor today. Up on MtRose they're saying 140-170mph winds, and possibly 8ft of snow today. Insane!

lots of rain in socal.... the russians must have finally finished their weather control weapon and are making their move! people setting sandbags up incase of flooding. beverly hills is going to be a mess with the residents taking too much time trying to find sandbags that match their homes.

ridiculous amount of rain at home right now. Hasnt rained this hard in ages.

We've got a couple tarps nailed down to our roof to cover holes since we're replacing the whole thing soon; one of the tarps ripped off and flipped over onto the other side of the roof.... it exposed the holes in the roof to the rain and my parent's bed got drenched.

notman, they already have a waterbed, it just became one inside and out.

I went up on the roof and took care of the tarps during a lull in the rain... great fun being up on a wet and slippery roof in cold wet weather when I'm suffering through a rather nasty head cold.

If i'm not mistaken, europeans are around 150 on the scale, where you americans are up around 700? (numbers pulled out of my ass/memory. There's hardly a distinction there as far as effectiveness in memorising goes)
So it's up to us to buy SUVs to make Hawkens life better! You guys aren't to blame, you're trying hard enough already.
