How long must this shit go on for? I have been having so many issues with live this past month it isn't funny.

Locking up
Not loading

Anyone else having issues?

I call, email, messenger pigeon microsoft and all i get is we are aware of the issues.

Yeah, I've been having all sorts of issues... I was beginning to wonder if my 360 was crapping out (and kind of hoping it was )

My system locks up all the time, but just in the blade area. It takes forever for shit to load. And I get knocked offline all the time; sometimes even when it shows me online (but says I'm not logged in). I have a 3 month gold membership waiting for me to add, but I'm worried about doing it if it will just be a waist. OH, and I love this new BS where you can't download demos with the silver membership until after an undefined waiting period.

So do I have to complain to get the free xbla game? Or will that be automatic for everyone?

Notman - I've been on Live for years, and it's only been an issue in the last 2 weeks or so. I got all the same issues that you just reported, but as of last night they seem to have all gone.

MS said everyone will get a free XBLA game, and they will give details later in the month. Hopefully some choice is involved and they don't decide to just give everyone a copy of Frogger.

Yeah, I know... it's been since the update. I'm necessarily pissed (though my post may look otherwise). It's irritating, but I can still play my games, so eh...
Did they release another update last night? I don't usually have a chance to turn mine on until the weekends.
And yes, I hope they offer some choice. Otherwise they're likely to offer something that people already own (or would never want to own).

yeah it takes forever for the blades to load when i log in to my name. It made me shut my xbox off last night in disgust. I can't play COD4 with anyone or anything else for that matter. It has been a very annoying few weeks.
