Photoshop cursor lag

Ok, not sure what could be causing it, but ever since I got my other pc its had hell with photoshop and cursor lag. I'm running cs2 on a vista ran intel 2.4g , 3gig ram with an nvidia 8600 gt.

I only really happens after I try to move the canvas around in the maximize view, so zooming in and moving around doesn't work too well. I've optimized my pc to run with as little extra stuff as possible and even when only ps is running it still does it!!

Any ideas of whats causing this or how to get it to stop? My other pc is shit in a box and never has problems with cs2.

I honestly think its Vista I'm running a 3.8g dual core, 4 gigs of memory, and the same video cart.

Photoshop didn't start running well until I down graded to XP. :-/

yeah i think it's a vista issue to be honest. I am not sure though.

For CS+Vista issues make sure you actually DO run aero. Turns out it enables some fancy acceleration that makes Photoshop runs better than with a stripped down Vista. Mostly talking about stroke response here.
