Anyways, Happy New Years to the people on Polycount....once again prolly one of the vest forums I've been on for digital artists.
I'll be glad to be done with 2007. It's been a shitty year, and it's going out with a bang (of bad luck). Just found out our dog has a good sized bladder stone, which cost us $350 for the vet visit, and if the new prescription doesn't work to shrink it, then it will be $1000 for surgery to remove it And were broke from Christmas. I have an inheritance, because I lost my dad this year, but won't receive any of that until I finish fixing up his house, and we're able to sell it

i think we all have things we like to put behind us, its almost a year now that im dealing with this RSI healt problem.
i am limited in everything i like doing, i havent really used any reall program on the pc for ages. just because after 15 min my arm starts burning.
i do multi media and ill probably fail this year, dont even know if im going to finish the study.
luckaly i can still draw and sculpt aslong as i dont do more then an hour or so a day.
i dont know where im heading, but today was a good day
new years day hasnt been so great for me so far, chicken pox at 23 isnt much fun but I have hopes and dreams for this year and I already know it will be interesting to see what happens this year.

well as I type right now I'm sitting in JFK airport in New York with my wife and son waiting on our plane to finish our trip to Chicago. Hoping we can get in and get our bags on time and get home just after midnight.
So at 12:00 I'll probably be sitting in a taxi on the way home from the airport.

I see 2008 being a better year for myself and my family as well.
In 2007 we were homeless twice, I graduated from college. We moved from San Diego to Maine and then from Maine to Chicago where things started to pick up finally.
Now with this new job at midway and things looking on the upside i am excited to see what the year will bring.
Happiness to all...make sure to leave your keys in hands more sober than yours, if you partake of the saucy goodness of alchohol....I'n having a nice dinner with my wife and daughter..drinking a little ameretto, a little wine....everyone have a good one!
I spent my New Years Eve on the beach. Drank the first beer and observed the first titties of 2008. May there be many more of each to come.
It did then take me over three and a half hours to reach my house which is a little over half an hour tram ride, but we shan't complain about that.

this year I must finally get my first gig in the industry. I'm psyched.
