the head design is a little confusing, since his eyes are pretty small its possible to read his 2nd set of nostrils as eyes instead (looks quite cool if you look at it that way mind )
heh, thanks for the feedback ppl. Well, i´m sure that maybe the specular could be a little high not because of the map but because of the lights on the scene, there´s 4 point lights into the Maya scene and also the spec power could be high too. But like a reptile, i´m sure that is not a real big problem, isnt it? Lemme know and I will adjust.
is that corset on him? or just part of his body? does looking very strange. and yes, head is a bit confusing. Oh, and a LOT of wasted polys, man.
but that's good job, and a nice portfolio piece.
Yeah, corset is with him, i did it together into high mesh, all was done in zbrush in 1 mesh. I was thinking about the polycount too, even if its 5k i dont want to waste too much, im trying to cover that topic too, i wasted too much on the legs and arms, you know, i didnt want to lose too much time with something that doesnt grant me too much. Maybe the head is a bit confusing thinking on a lizard, i have put this name on him after thinking on a lizard, i dont know if wanted to do as a lizard, but its kinda. Anyway, thx for the feedback Conte, i will try to figure something out better next time
I would put some work into that spec map to make it look more like scales. You need some darker spots in the spec to break up the shine a bit. Some heavy contrast tweaking should do the trick. Other than that it looks pretty good.
