Web Programmer - Mobile Video Games!

The Web Programmer works as part of Gameloft’s global E-commerce team and is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, implementing and updating community and promotional applications for the company’s website on the North America area. The successful candidate will work along with another Web Programmer and a Community Producer and will be reporting to the Lead Programmer and the E-Commerce Manager in New York.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for constructing, publishing, coding and managing all technical aspect of community services related application on the company’s website in accordance with the company’s worldwide standard
- Improve, maintain and enhance company’s website effectiveness and efficiency
- Identify issues and provide suggestions on improvement from a technical point of view
- Recommend programming changes to improve the traffic to the site

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and equivalent
- 3+ years of experiences working as a web master or programmer managing web site and web content
- Proficient in HTML, MySQL, PHP, Ajax and JavaScript
- Familiar with Flash and animation
- Ability to multi-task and work well with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate, respond and explain to non-technical colleague on technical issues related to the web site
- Prior experience working as a Web master or programmer in social/networking agency, retail, electronics, wireless and gaming industry would be a plus
