Quickie question: Headphones transmitting oddly...

Hey hey,

I recently bought an awesome pair of headphones that've worked great until late.

Now, whenever I have ANY audio coming in through the headphones it is added to any voice chat/mic recording I do. If play an MP3, for example, and do a voice call with someone the mp3 is played through the voice call.

Any one know why this would happen?

Control panel -> sounds and audio devices -> audio tab -> Sound recording (volume) -> uncheck every box except microphone?

I had a similar problem, and that was how I fixed it.

It's like anything that I am listening to is ALSO being recorded/transmitted

Because having that box checked would give the exact result you're describing. Not to be too redundant, just wanna make sure my instructions are clear.
