hi! i want a tool that can make sweet gradients to use with crazy bump and make some dope normal maps. while i was playing in crazy bump, it made me wonder.

ideally, i'd like to be able to draw out my edges in different values and have each line transition into the other, as illustrated above.
it may work like shit! but, i wish it existed so i could play with it. someone make it, kthx, i love you.

Slum

A lot of vector programs have this functionality. I believe illustrator/inkscape can do stuff like this.
