So I was going to sit down today and finish the base modeling for my pig pilot model, but couldn't get in the mood. just felt like doing some freestyle sculpting instead.
I saw that there's a mudbox sculpting comp and thought it might be fun to enter, so I downloaded one of the basemeshes, the four-armed creature. This is what I ended up with so far. Some areas, hands especially are all jacked so I'll try to fix them next time I work on this guy.
Thanks for any crits

On the lower arms make the knuckles quite big so that you imply that it uses those arms like a gorilla does. Also add more mass to the forearm like a gorilla.
I edited the first post to reflect the changes
Here is a small update, did a little bit on the arms / shoulder area, plus my new concept for the head
Hands are still messed up, didn't get that far down the arm yet

Oh, the model looks cool too.
Another small update, head redesign. Didn't quite finish the ears and the horns are just placeholders to see what it might look like. I'll have to sculpt the real horns out of mudbox primitives. I'd like to add a tongue too
And he needs a big ol' schlong.
Eric;
I have some plans for the back but its really rough right now, looks pretty crap so once I can get around to focusing on it I'll post a shot from that angle

I hope you also wouldn't relate to a fat tail, otherwise you were quite a peculiar baby
Here's some images, just doodlin around today. Thinking about giving him some cyborg areas. This is what happens when you don't have a concept heh!
I wish I could model the techy parts in max but that's part of the challenge I guess... I will definitely need to subdivide one more time + locally from there if possible
I'll get to those blobby arms and legs eventually

I'll see what I can do with it after christmas break with fresh eyes.
