I really wanted to go in some form. Even it it was just helping 90% of the time.
If nothing else, I could offer the house I'm staying as a place to meet up. My roommates should be cool with it as long as it doesn't go too late or get rowdy (unlikely). I don't live that far from downtown.
Hey, popping this back up. I thought I might have had enough, but now one of my roommates doesn't want to sign a new lease. So me and the other roomate are trying to find someone to sign a 6 month. If we cant, I need that money for first and last at a new spot.
I'm kinda sticking it in here as per maybe one of you out of towners will get a local job out of this event and want a nice place to stay.
Anyhow also popping it up to see if you all would like to get a meetup together outside the event? To help with the possibility of attracting polycounters who wouldn't go otherwise. Say like Saturday evening in Belltown or Capital Hill?
Oh sweet! I'll be in Seattle on the Jan 4th and I'm up for meet up, although not sure if I'll attend the workshop. Can I get a pass for just the weekend, anyone knows? I guess I'll just call and ask tomorrow.
Hey sounds good, I already have Rockstars info, and we definetely need to do a meet up. Those who are making it just send me a email through polycount and we will try and get a metting time together. Shotgun, maybe you can get one of those temporary phones? while your there to make it easier to get in contact with you.
Let's try and meet up at the W where I know a few of us are at or close by. Then we can head out to a resturaunt as that would be best to chat and catch up while still getting some beer would be good. I get in on the 4th, so how about maybe doing it either on the 5th or the 6th after the workshop so we can meet up with fog and anyone else that would not be attending the show. Let me know if this sounds good, and I will check back here to see what we all come up with.
So I learned my roommate decided to stay Jan 1st, so I have been trying to get in contact with Massive Black to get on. Sounds like its not going to happen since they aren't answering emails.
*Bangs head against wall*
I gotta say though, if you guys are already at the W, why they heck would you want the meeting there? You can go there anytime your at the Hotel. Don't you want to get some of the Seattle Social Scene?
Haha yeah, oxy...alot of us do not have transportation so that is a meeting point to where we can then decide to go. So far we have about 6-8 people meeting up, though I hope more will be able to make it. See you guys there soon.
Also - if you can, rock the PC shirt while you're there for easy spottage while we're learnin'.

I'll probably be wearing the green and black first day, that way hopefully we can gather a bit during the friday night party as well! I think shots are in order!
I'm chillin' at the Warwick right now. Already bumped into a few people who are going to the convention.
Going to hop out and take a look around, it's like 5 and already dark here.
Haven't posted in quite some time, and I'm just about to head out the door to the studio, but I took a quick look at the workshop information page and didn't see a price - is it free to attend? I currently reside in Seattle and this definitely sounds badass, free or not - just curious.
Edit: Just saw post above, anyone know if there are any spots left? and again, how much is it?

It would be a BYOB though.

I just figured we could meet up at the CA event, then head to some place as a group?

I hope not, for those who cannot attend because of financing or work schedules.
Would you all prefer a coffee shop or a full on restaurant?
There are some decent Bars in Belltown (near the CA event). Though they are more expensive and crowded with yuppies.
Actually - who's going?
I'm in.

My name is Mud.
Mud also may have a chance of getting in since Jason emailed him to let him know there are a few spots left and to pay at the door.
Mud also wonders what it means when someone talks of themselves in the third person?
Edit: Just saw post above, anyone know if there are any spots left? and again, how much is it?
"There's a guy here wearing your shirt!"
So, lets do 5:30PM @ the front of the convention centre. You can call myself @ 778.881.4693 for info.
Cheers!
