Otherwise I think he's looking pretty good.
usually guitars with the 3 pickup style have atleast 3 knobs and one toggle switch to toggle between the pickups. also they use a lighter colored wood for the neck stock(not the fretboard - thats dark mahogany i think), unless the darker color goes with your design.

I was going to say exactly the same thing.
Aside from those technical points, I'd add that the tuning keys need to be rotated all at different angles because it's almost impossible to have them all line up at exactly the same angle and still be in tune (but that's a pretty minor point).
The amplifier looks very believable. So good job on those things, Armanguy!
As for your character, I' suggest that bend near the top of the tie looks a bit too sharp. Try lessening that sharp bend and you've got yourself a totally 80's-type rock guy!

Your guitar looks like a Fender strat, needs a tone control (another round knob) and a pickup selection lever. SOME guitars have 3 knobs but a strat like the one here has 2.
worked on the render a little what does everyone think?
Also, you can get by with no selector switch if you have more than one output jack (a seperate one for each pickup). If you wanted to run your guitar to more than one amp you could do this. You could use a splitter, but if you want two different distinct sounds going to each amp, you would wire a specific pickup to each jack. I don't see this working for more than two pickups, though (one wired to the top mounted jack and a second wired to a side jack)
You need to either add a selctor switch of some kind if you're going to have more than one pickup, or only have one pickup.
I'm not trying to argue here, but if the kid only wants to have one knob, he only needs one knob. I totally agree he needs the selector switch.
Also might be good to take 5 minutes and make a stand for the guitar.
