Shhhhhhhh.... Its a secret!
Well, not really. But me and 3 others are developing a game using ogre and I am the modeller. Should help me develop skills quickly (hopefully), and I will be posting my models on the boards so you guys can rip them apart and help me make them as good as possible. Although, I will be idle for the next couple weeks as I have to go away for work, I will just keep all my shit in this thread.
Here goes, first model started was the basic assualt rife (its a FPS, dontcha know
). I started the high poly, still LOTS to do, screws, cocking lever, gas piston, ect ect. Oh, and all you gun nuts out there, I based it on the F2000, but did not follow it to the letter. The reason for this is I probably wouldnt be good enough to do that, and I want to vary the weapons a little bit because the game is not based on real life. Enough chatter.

Those things at the front and the end of the scope are not "caps" on top as in your model but the actual scope. I have never seen the weapon in real-life, but I bet that it is a cylinder that you can pull out of the weapon by removing one of these "front/back" things.
