i started making this today at a local "game jam" with a bunch of indie devs that meet once in a weekend to make some random games. it's all just for fun and wanted to share. a group is making a game where a bird flys around using the guitar hero guitar controller. it started as the group needing a bird. then he wanted it to be funny. inspired by the recent polycount comp, i figured adding a human head on it would do the trick. then i asked if i could add some tits, cause it would be funner to work on. so, here's a wip on her. she should be ready to animate and placed in their game sometime tomorrow.

I tried playing tony hawk 8 with it when I was drunk...good times.
Looks awesome...can´t go wrong with tits.
You could also push the feather detail much further. Sparrows aren't the most vibrant birds, but even the females have quite distinct markings which would add plenty of interest to your model
you are so awesome kp
AWESOME LEVEL IS OVER 9000
I'd say it's a neat concept. As said above, I'd work on the feathers-to-skin transitions a bit. Also underneath the wings, I would blend the textures from the feather tips to the wing.
why are there tuning forks sticking out of it?
if the two planets were right next to each other, they'd almost look like boobs.
it's a whack a muuul! i do it to see that glint of happiness in a programmers' cold calculating eyes. like a shark's eye, or a hawk zeroing in on its prey or, more appropriately like a shawk teleporting through a wall to bite and claw off your fucking face. only, as you rear back in fear, you are greeted with a ginger embrace, or what the fuck ever, i need sleep.
it reminds me of mars attacks where the humans had their heads switched with animals

Are you helping out with the sgda aipx too? daanuoobs could always use the extra critiques.
planet: is it more of a planetoid or meteor that works like a beacon? or is that a 6billion story tuning fork on an earth-sized planet?
it's used to define transparency

Normally that trick only knocks out one color and doesn't blend. If the color is R255 G000 B255 then the pixel is transparent, if not, then it isn't transparent. I don't think that method allows for blending, normally its used in pixel art. But you have a lot of blending going on so there would be a lot of near pink pixels that aren't going to be knocked out. If you want blending I think you'd have to use an opacity mask instead of pink

great harpy. I like boobs and all but I think you might be obsessed. Better get that checked out.
