the texture again could use alot more work give more highlights and shadows to it man , play with colors

haha great idea I think you've got some nice proportions and shapes in the concept though that changed when you modelled it, would be nice to see them tweaked back in (body/legs proportion, eye shape, curve on battery head)
he looks kinda pissed in the concept but kinda dozy in the model

Aye, while the concepts themselves have different proportions from each - they were only ever meant as a guide - JT and I were pretty happy with the end result. It seems like a copout, but a concept is simply that. I used a wide-angle camera lense for the renders to change their perspective to the viewer - I think the proportions for the model are close if you look at the boring ortho's.
