body armor

hey all,
I am starting a new project of body armor. I will just create shoulder, elbow, and glove. I need to know how it works though, and i cant find anything online. I mean how do things connect, hinge, where are the straps, etc... It will be fairly classic platemail armor, ie a knight. I thought you all may have made somethign similar before and might know a good reference site?

It all depends what you want dude, what style and what erra you want it from, most armors have a uniqe way of holding it on your body, just search for "medieval armor" something like that, im sure you will get tons of results. You can allways get on my msn and i can tell you a bit about medieval european armors.
