Installing ActorX For Maya (2008-?)

I found the ACTOR X file here

I need to figure out how to install the ActorX plug-in for maya. I'm totally drawing a blank on were to put the file.

My Documents, .. Program Files...??? Do I need to create a Plug-ins folder??

Also If anyone knows of a complile for Maya 2008 I'd like to know!

plug-in directory is in Maya\bin\plugin or something similar, or you can create a plugin folder under Maya's user settings in your My Documents folder.

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya8.5\bin\plug-ins

--Install Plug-in In Maya by going to WINDOWS --> SETTINGS_AND_PREFERENCES --> PLUG-INS MANAGER
(For me it was the first checkbox ActorXTool.mill set to autoload)
