Problem with my wacom

Has anyone had this happen to them before? Today my wacom started to draw incorrectly. It keeps on drawing even when the pen is not touching the tablet, like it's lagging? The result is I get trails in my drawings and when I click on buttons in menus it doesn't work correctly.

re-adjust your tip feel in start/pen tablet properties.

i had this problem once. if you look at the light on the tablet, it looks like it's registering a press when it's not. for me, i had to flick the nib a few times and it worked fine after that.

Heh, it seemed to work, for some reason my old settings just stopped working. I reset them to something else. Does this mean my Wacom is getting old or is it just a driver issue. I never had to this before. Thanks.

Well the software tweeks I did didn't work. I ended up taking out the tip (nip) out of my stylus with a set of pliers and put it back in. I set the software settings back to default and it stopped lagging like it used to so it seems to be all set. Later.
