I'm doing some personal environment work using the UT3 editor, and I'm trying to import a .ase file that has multiple materials assigned to it. My ASE Export options are set the same way they are on my work computer.
This is supposed to work flawlessly, and for most of today it did, and then the exporter suddenly stopped exporting my material assignments which leaves me with a mesh with a single material. When I import the mesh into Unreal I get the "Importer Warning: This object has no material reference (default texture will be applied to object)" message.
It's bizarre considering it worked perfectly today and then decided to stop working for some reason. Any ideas?
