You are a superstar visual designer with a passion for merging the best of the web with the excitement of online games of all genres. You are tremendously creative and excel at giving visual direction as well as diving into hands-on execution.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO EVERY DAY
Hands-on direction and participation in concept and execution of visual design across Trions web products, publishing business, and corporate site(s)
Manage & mentor visual designers by providing prioritization, feedback, and direction
Participate in consultations with Product Managers and Development team to implement designs
Collaborate with marketing to set branding standards and provide design support for marketing initiatives
Create ideas and solutions for complex visual design problems
Proactively propose improvements to the existing products
Collaborate in formal and informal design critiques and give clear, constructive and effective feedback to peers
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE JOB IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL TOOLKIT
7+ years hands-on web design experience required with at least 2 years managing/leading creative teams
BS or MS in Visual Design, Graphic Design, or other design-related field
Experience mentoring junior designers and provide design feedback
Able to create design documentation, including specifications and style guides
Experience working within User Experience\UI teams and on cross-functional teams with product managers and engineers
Up-to-date on current design trends with a strong visual design portfolio and a fanatical attention to detail down to the pixel
Strong understanding of web standards, such as HTML and CSS, and design tools, such as Photoshop and Illustrator (experience with Flash a plus)
Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once
Organized and can handle aggressive timelines
Quick learner able to adapt to changing formats using different systems and applications
Great communication skills both written and verbal
Able to influence and resolve issues effectively
