Open Canvas, you use it or no?

Just intrested on how many people on here use open canvas, was figuring maybe we could get a few polycounters on a certain night doodling or something?

hmmmmmmm.. I guess you can achieve nice effects with open canvas via if your a good painter and dont use photosource or anything in that manner......but jez multi texture people is crazy 0_o

Hey you know what is even cooler?

Use the Verse plugin for your favorited 2D and 3D programs (for example Gimp and Blender... but for other programms it is available too) and work together on 3D meshes AND textures the same time

It's all for the greater good of the hive!

I still use old 11b72 here though I never network drew I only use it for quick brush adjustment and superior undo handling (compared to PSP5)

Conceptart.org has a net-sketch setup, or used to. I don't know if its still running.

I don't think the new versions of OpenCanvas have network capabilities. 11b72 or 11b68 can be found online or downloaded from the conceptart IRC channel.

Uni-Verse plugin looks pretty interesting too.

i've decided to blame the program rather than my own incompetence.

Googling Verse plugin gets about 20,000 bible verse things.

Perhaps you could link it, or even better, simply answer the question as to whether or not it works with the tools he listed?

well the opencanvas program that allows people to connect I have, I wanted to kinda find people intrested and everyone jump on aim/msn or whatever, and then well swap the program around to setup a day (ITs like a 3 meg program)

sounds cool, Im pretty busy lately but this might be good fun, have you tried using this "warpaint" seforin? is it easy to use(getting on to a server etc) and responsive?

sounds interesting but what time is 8pm eastern time in the uk anyway? and I might be indoor rock climbing but thats not likely lately.

uh well um....im not sure, look at your time zone changer via windows time manager.

I think I will still be at work at 3pm when you are online at 8pm as far as I can tell theres a 5 hour difference between uk and eastern time( US and canada ).
