Skull mesh underneath your Face Sculp workflow?

So I saw a few of the guys here talking a bout this but what exactly is your actual workflow for using this? Is it just used as ref for your basemesh while you're modeling it? Or do you have some sort of crazy mudbox/zbrush setup that allows you to see it underneath your sculpt?

    maybe its just the material's opacity setting on the mesh you're sculpting?

    I'd be interested to see how people do this as well.

    What I do is just have a skull mesh (a subd one made in silo from awhile ago) and use that.

    Load your head teel, select a different tool (such as sphere), load/import the skull. Then select your head tool again and go to subtools>append, and select the skull. Then you can use transpose to position it. Turning on transparency helps for positioning.
