Since it's approaching xmas time (I normally buy myself a good gift or two around this time as well :P) I've been kind of in a toy buying binge lately. Mostly I've just been ebay-ing but I was wondering if anyone knows of any good sites to check out.

I'm looking for everything ranging from cool non-rare stuff, to big collectors pieces.

I've been buying mcfarlane's twisted series, because they are wickedly cool.

Even if you're not too into World of Warcraft I gotta say, the figures are mighty cool. Extremely detailed little sonsabitches. I just got all four of the currently released ones off amazon and they definitely make a good addition to the desk.

Slum, even though you mentioned it, just thought I'd mention/agree about the Twisted series. The Wizard of Oz Lion was the main one on my desk for the longest time. Besides that, the Faces of Madness series is also cool. I have most of the 3rd series and I think they're bad ass. Rasputin has a lot of little parts though :S

gavimage: yes indeed. i have the dorothy, toto, and wizard all on order right now. i plan to get the whole set.

There seems to be some confusion on the Dorothy figures though. Are there two different versions? I've seen one that says its 7 inches tall and another that says it's 12 inches. I havent seen them in person, so I dont really know whats going on.

Another good series, i think, are the Street Fighter figures from Sota toys http://www.toyglobe.com/StreetFighter01.php Each series has some characters that are "meh" but also mixed in with some nice ones. I've got Ryu, Akuma, Blanka, Bison and Chun Li. The Bison one is kind of goofy but the rest are kinda cool.
