I'd say he's pretty damned awesome-- just add some dark hair to show volume (even if Hulk Hogan's hair is bleached beyond repair, there'll still be hairs underneath that don't get light). Add some shadow detail to the bandages to give them volume as well-- right now they look too painted on. Throw on an Ambient Occlusion map for body shadows and you're set!
Hey bud! This is a nice start but you've a long ways to go. I see far too many photoshop "tricks" that i immediately want to call you on. Overused/improperly used overlays, far too many layer effects for lighting, missing depth in layering/painted shadows.
If you sat down and spent a few more hours actually painting some of the stuff you have just slapped on you'd have a much cooler end result. Honestly, this does not look like a 1024 texture.
I don't mean to come across overly harsh--just feel it necessary to bust you out early and hope you remedy the problem in future arts.=)
Thanks, my attempts on painting leather edges and highlights are always not realistic enough. As well as the metal. I am going to paint shadows next on skin, hair and clothings.
I actually felt the same thing, but just lack a way to fix it. Too clumsy at painting, sigh...
looks better, but still looks a bit off on the moustache, just because we usually see the moustache as under the nose flowing out of the lines of the nostrils... but I think you were going for the 'bunny' whiskers are actually his moustache look so it's 'inbetween' so I'm not really sure, but looks closer to a moustache now then it did before.
yeah, I was going for a dog/bunny/human. Still needs more practising on painting hair. I tried to put moustache under the nose, he looks wicked. I just want him to look bad and naughty.
