plugged it in, pushed Power... and nothing happened? I just experienced this, which is a particular bummer cause I just got my copy of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure off of Ebay. It's been kept in a dry cabinet for probably a few years, so I can't imagine it having rusted up on the inside. Before I go about unscrewing it and poking around at the insides to see if anything's gone bad, anyone got any suggestions?

They prolly don't offer replacement for units either.

Bugger, that didn't do squat. Guess I'll pop it apart some upcoming evening.
A pristine console for the price of an average new PC game is pretty damn good, I think.
Bummer dude. I still have my DC sitting in the bottom of a closet somewhere. Last time I checked it worked fine. You're more than welcome to it If you can't find a solution. I was thinking about how to get rid of it a while ago....

Dude, I'll take you up on that offer even if I manage to get mine working again!
Mine still runs just fine and it was a launch unit.

I bought mine on 9/9/99 (with my own money... I was only 14yo at the time, so it was kind of a bit deal to me. It was my first console that was all mine).

All I am missing is a set of lightguns, actually.
I will eventually migrate to xbox 360 due to the REZ HD game.
