Hey guys,
Been awhile since I made anything and I've always wanted to get up to speed with normal mapping. Decided to make a stylized flora model that I could go to town on for practice.
I think the model needs something more but I'm having trouble figuring out what so any crits are welcome. The shaders are just place holders to get a feel for what colors I'm going to use. I'd like to do most of the fine detail with normal maps.
Also, I'm wondering if I should just use planes for the petals instead of what I've done.

The rest of the details you can keep but depending which flower species you based this one it seems like vines and other more "harmful" vegetation like bramble would go nicely around it.
I agree with the creeping vines. I wanted to make it a more "little shop of horrors"-ish but wasn't sure how. I'll get working on that tonight.

Also it's be nice to have little bit creases on the petals as well when you get to it.
