Profenix Studio aims at making new demos for s2engine to receive more and more feedback from game companies that want to use our technology for their games.We assist people in entering and finding jobs in the games industry giving them the possibility to show for free their works running on a powerfull engine in a real game demo of big impact to make a lot of publicity to your art skills and to our game developement suite.You will show your work enriched by our technology.

These days it is hard to find a job and game companies require evidence of experience and knowledge which are hard to prove if you are not already in this field.

Many people send their C.V. with a portfolio of their work that doesn’t exhibit the real quality of their assets or they just provide a link to their website or a video demo reel with simple 360 turn arounds. These techniques are not impressive simply because the majority of people do exactly just that.

Companies receive applications like these on an every day basis and most of the times, they don’t make obvious the extent of skills an artist for example has.

Our idea is to create a free interactive demo with your assets or your established team assets. Also if you want, we can help you put together a team-contact and meet other artists and work together on a greater and complex demo.

We offer complete support for programming and art (eg. if you miss an animation for an asset...Don’t worry, we will help you) and our experience in the field.

I'll try to explain simply why this idea can be the future of job finding in the game industry and explain the rules which you can participate.

By using our engine we give you the opportunity to develop an interactive scenario and add dynamism to your models (sounds, lights, particles, all kind of shaders, etc). Place your animations in a real gameplay which people can interact with them. Create your music for a real demo.

Some people could prefer making a mod which is a good idea but not as practical and nor a perfect solution.

1) Making a mod requires you have a programmer and/or other team members that can make your models work in the game otherwise you will have to rely on yourself.

2) Your mod is not playable without the original game, meaning that if you send your mod to a company they won’t be able to view it without installing the original game.

3) Making a mod implies that you have to comply with the engine’s limitations for specs and gameplay and are only allowed minor adjustments.

4) There isn't an actual moddable game for every genre.

5) Occasionally mods may require a specific animation rig or you might need to limit the size of textures and their numbers.

6) In a mod it is difficult to differentiate between the original mod assets and yours, making it practically difficult for a future employer to recognize your work.

Our solution instead, with S2 Engine:

1) You don’t need any programming skills.
2) We will produce a stand alone executable file ( .exe ) accessible and playable by all. in the future we will also enable ActiveX allowing people to view your products from your web site.
3) Complete freedom: You can use whatever FX lighting or shader you want, animation rig, number of textures and size.
4) Complete support: If your model isn't animated we can do the animation for you and if your animation doesn't have a model we can create the model.
5) Whatever genre of game your art is designed for, we can develop the demo in a matter of days.
6) Your assets are protected in our format and no one, including us can convert it back to a 3d application. Your demo can be packed in a crypted file and only you will have access to the encription key.
7) S2 engine provides high quality graphics found in those of the latest AAA titles.
8) You don't have to buy the game or the engine. But if you want to buy the engine we can send you the entire source of your demo so you can continue developing your game individually or with our technical support
9) Working with us can be a good learning experience and will give you a taste of what it means to work on a professional game.
10) Free publicity on our site. If you want we can upload screenshots, videos, or your application on our site.
11) You own the final application, it is yours to do anything you want with it apart of some minor restrictions that are described below.
12) Showing a professional demoreel can have a great impact on audience while the whole experience resembles that of developing a real game and even being a member of a team.

Rules, limitation and possibilities:
-You can't sell a demo that we developed for free.
-You can send your assets in whatever format or directly in our format with the exporters that we provide.
-we can't use any of your assets without your permission.
-if you want you can sell assets on our site with a royalty higher than other model sites.
-if you want you can let other people use your models in their demos credited to you at the beginning of the game or demo and you can decide if they can modify it or not.
-you can meet other artists to establish a team.
- By purchasing the Engine, you could take your demo a step further into a commercial game.
-if we show screens or movies of your project we will give full credits to you.
-You can find a job like expert in a high profile engine workflow.
-You can play a game with your assets.:)
