could it be? could lucasarts have realised just how bad a job obsidian did of KOTOR 2 and have given the love back to Bioware?

what is the product they are talking about? i know not long ago lucasarts said that KOTOR had not been forgotten... what are your thaughts? if it's a new KOTOR, i'm friggin stoked!

must be only me but i really liked kotor 2 i loed to fuck up with kreya , and the quests seemed weird, the game felt a tad rushed , but i really enjoyed it ahhaha...lets see how this one goes

Hmm there's already a star wars MMO, but then again, Bioware is hiring for an MMO, then again, they have enough own and good IPs to make MMOs from, then again making yet another Fantasy MMO with them wouldn't seem smart these days...
Who knows, i don't.

KOTOR3 YES PLEAZ!!!

The only thing I hated about KOTOR 1 and 2 was how glitchy they were. My Kotor 1 disc was fucked, when I went to my ship I had a robot that could let me go to any point in the game, it was obviously a development tool that wasnt supposed to be usable in the game. And my KOTOR 2 disc stopped about 30 min in. But Im still in for some KOTOR 3 goodness

Then how about combining them to make a rpgmmo - or better yet - a mmorpg!

Lucasarts has lots of other licenses besides Star Wars you guys know. Maybe it will be a rpg or mmo set in the universe of Indiana Jones. Or Monkey Island. Or Full Throttle. Or Maniac Mansion. Or the Dig. Or Willow. Or Howard the Duck! One can only hope.

Truth is I already know, but I'm not saying which of the above it is. Mwahahaha. >:P

I will be somewhat suprised if the Austin MMO is StarWars... well not suprised, but I'm not jumping on the bandwagon. The MMO has been in production for a little while already, I can't figure out how they would just now sign an agreement for something as fundamental as the entire world and theme (or maybe it was kept hush for a while?). So my pure speculative opinion (like all in this thread except friends with Bioware employees good enough to break NDA) is that it will be a Star Wars game developed by Bioware Edmonton (who just finished Mass Effect)... the whole issue is confusing given the EA buyout, I've been following this for a while and will continue to do so, it's interesting.

There's lots of old and new art in there (that trooper is obviously old, like, very old). Wonder why the videos from the announcement weren't shown? The lightsabers are absurdly large, there's one predominant pajama outfit, the framerate sucks, and there's no way for someone to know what is old art and what is new art.

Did we announce too soon? Not my call...

Do I think the new stuff looks awesome? Yes. So flame away, because I don't disagree with what everyone is saying. I just know what's coming.

i want a third episode damnit, where you play some random amnesiac who wakes up to find him/herself in trouble, and the only person available to help is exile, who is on her way to find revan, who is being his badass self in the unknown regions battling the true sith somewhere.

final chapter = epic revan + exile + me vs. all things evil.
