jackablade - yeah i saw that thread and its inspired me alot , but i think that our model have different style and so far im really happy about what ived done for a first model and is polycount seem really low , for the class i was asked to make a model between 3500 - 4000 triangles.maybee theres something that i need to improve on the overall mesh flow!?! thx for the good comment
sorry for the miss tipping or vocabulary im french!
Looks good, but are you sure you aren't counting polygons instead of triangles? It looks more like 8000 triangles and 4075 polygons. Make sure you're counting triangles since they are not the same as polygons.
Actually it looks like 4000 to me, 8000 would seem a bit more dense to me. on a note you could continue to collapse those edges on his legs like you did on the body, your Models silhouet wouldn't suffer. It doesn't really matter though.

Seems like a popular character at the moment.

EQ's post gives a clue as to why.
Nice work Machine. Could use some more shape around the torso, and you have too many unnecessary edges around the things.
Keep up the good work it looks great!
