Senior Animator

EA Salt Lake has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Animator. You'll be working in a fun, fast-paced, team-oriented environment, alongside the people who worked on the Tiger Woods franchise and Madden Football. As one of our art staff, the future of entertainment is yours to create.
Responsibilities
Key framing animation for emotionally compelling in game character and real-time cinematic sequences.
Work closely with industry leading programmers and game designers to design character behaviors.
Work with the game animation tools and technologies to create emotionally compelling, believable virtual characters.
Requirements
At least 4 years of industry experience with credits on 2-3 shipped titles, preferably console games.
Proficiency with Maya 7.0.
Ability to learn and work with proprietary animation run-time integration tools.
Knowledgeable in the technical aspects of rigging and skinning characters for animation.
An ability to animate the human form, giving the character weight, personality, mood and believability.
Comfortable animating in toonish style that focuses on squash and stretch techniques.
Strong understanding of classic animation principles and fundamentals.
2 - 4 year degree, or equivalent, from a Fine Arts, or Computer Animation program.
A demo reel and resume that demonstrate your skills and abilities.
Good listener, able to take and understand direction.
Able to clearly and openly communicate with your fellow artist, design and engineering team members.
Highly creative problem solver with a passion and drive that puts you a step above the rest.
Additional Qualifications
