I'm really liking the facial expressions on the cats, especially the yellow one.
My only crit is maybe give them hind paws as well instead of just stumps.
No, I actually haven't. So I'm unfamiliar with that art style, but I guess its just what I would have preferred to see.

Im not sure if this will be helpful, but can't imagine zombies in such bright colors. Even if they are wind waker vgcats. How would it look if they were a bit more desaturated?
Yes 5-sided barrels! You da man cholden. Love the setting. It's got a dark yet funny atmos to it. Your cats though strike me as too clean for that setting, so I look forward to see how that turns out.

Anyway, I set those plans on the backburner and produced a final scene for the deadline.
Final PSP screen size (12,600 tris, 2x128x128, 1x128x32)
25 kitties (468 tris each), all have unique faces.
