Cinematic Modeler (In-House Contract)
Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented contract 3D modeler/texture artist to assist our cinematics team. The cinematic modeler will be skilled at realistically modeling and texturing high-polygon characters, sets and environmental elements for use in our famed cinematic sequences.
Requirements
Great eye for anatomy
Excellent 3D modeling/texturing skills (demonstrated in a demo reel)
Skill in modeling high-resolution objects in 3D software such as 3DS Max and Maya
Experience with 3D sculpting software such as Zbrush and Mudbox
Fluency in Photoshop
Ability to fine-tune work at the pixel level
Outstanding eye for light, shade, color, and detail in creating texture maps
Ability to work well in a team environment and be open to direction
Passion for film, animation, and games
Pluses
Previous experience modeling/texturing high-polygon art in the game or movie industries
Strong foundation in the traditional arts, including but not limited to figure drawing and environmental and/or architectural illustration
Experience with Maya/Renderman pipeline as an artist
