work in progress trollie

    First thing that comes to mind is that you have way too many loops in one direction and too few in other. Most obvious example is the horns. Yes, they are very rounded, but that doesn't show in the silhouette, and what does show is that they are very angular as they bend. Try to use your edges wisely, and only use a bit denser placement where it is necessary, e.g. around the deformation areas and in areas that will affect the silhouette. Looks like you have an extra loop or two around the mouth as well. Better use those edges to break up those long polies where the clavicle goes. The area around the eye looks really odd. Looks like the eyebrow line is recessed or non-existent. What you have looks more like a statue than a living being. I think the facial edge loops are more or less okay, but you'll need to move verts around to get some nicer, better defined shapes. Did you use any reference? Posting a concept would help. Overall, I'd say you'll need to put some more work in your poly flow and defining the forms better. Keep it up.
