Alright so lately I started poking around and decided it may be time to look for a studio gig and leave the world of freelance behind me for a bit.
I have received emails back from a few companies and been contacted by a few others. As some of you already know I'm heading to Midway - Chicago, flying out on the 21st and staying over night for my on site interview on the next day.
I had two phone interviews and they went really well and I'm excited about checking out the studio and seeing what has changed in Chicago since I haven't been there in like 8 years.
I know some of you guys are in that area so if you can recommend any good places to grab a beer and a good bite to eat that would be great.

I have a buddy who works there, if you see this kinda big baldy pissed off cuban tell him I said hi
I miss my little cuban
Chicago's a great place. I live about 2 miles from Ohare so you'll probably be pretty close when you fly in. Unless you're flying in to Midway airport (that'd be ironic), then you'll be a ways away. As for good food, gotta go to Pequods. The best pizza there, ever. And if the map's right, it's about 2 miles from Midway, straight down Clybourn.
1. wear all spandex. It shows confidence.
2. Use 2 bottles of cologne.
3. Refer to your interviewer as "child"
4. Attempt to fight at least 2 employees to show your dominance.
5. NEVER make eye contact unless a stare down is initiated.
6. Attempt to startle everyone around you. The jumpier they are, the better chance you have to get a job.
7. Bring food. These interviews often take a long time. I find bringing a meal to eat during it to be beneficial.
8. Wear headphones. Its not like you care what they're saying anyways.
9. lastly, expose yourself at opportune times.

Also I picked up a sweet pair of leather ass less chaps and i had mid tatted on one cheek and way on the other.
I am also getting a tat on my forehead that says I eat people and keep a set of silverwear in my front shirt pocket and wear a bib.
Thanks guys. I'm hoping it goes well. Not really sure what to expect but it should be fun.
Are you there for an environment or character gig?
Not to be a downer but I've recently heard some pretty bad things about working at Midway Chicago. Specificaly the quality of life for employees. I know you've got a kid, so I imagine that's important to you.
Just a heads up.
Didn't you just get everyone moved up to Maine? Had enough of it already? Can't say that I blame you...
Sectaurs: Yeah my wifey really isn't digging the sparse shopping and non-city life stuff. Plus where the fuck can i get a god damn carne asada burrito in maine?
