Street Fighter III: Third Strike for Xbox

Yes... Yess.. YESSS!!! Best fighting game ever, imo. I am creating this post as the OFFICIAL, yet not so OFFICIAL place to find other people who have the Xbox version of Third Strike, so that we may play online vs one another.

just come in wanting a good fight, because you'll get it.

yea the anniversary edition for Xbox. BC on 360. That's what we're talking about. So far we have a good crowd.

Yeah I tried to get into competitive third strike for a while but I was too into Smash to really get advanced. I have a ton of friends who play tourneys all the time from areas like Houston to Evo in Las Vegas. They all play either arcade or Japanese PS2 version because they are apparently the only ones that are identical to the original. It is a really awesome game and it is super deep. If you're looking for some good info on the advanced stuff you can go to Shoryuken's wiki and check out the 3S page.

What chars do you guys play? I mained Makoto and occasionally used Akuma.

wait, i'm confused.... you said third strike is on 360 on the xblv arcade? or you tried the xbox version and it works on 360? I have the SF anniversary edition on ps2.

anniversary edition is Backwards Compatible on 360 (xbox version)

that's the game we are talking about. it's not on XBLA

I have it on my PS2 with 2 sets of the Anniversary joysticks (PS2 and xbox compatible). Though I don't think it'll work with the 360, unless there's some cheap hack setup for it floating around on the internetz.

Its by far the best Street Fighter title I've ever played.
