That's a very sophistocated program - I guess we'll eventually find out what it was for when all our bank accounts clear of funds.
I'm currently writing a series of newspaper articles on de-mystifying computers and the internet for 'average Joe'. My first column is going to feature viruses, and basic preventative measures. Hopefully links like this one will scare people into action, not leaving it 'till they're infected to protect themselves.
Gmanx, I certainly hope your articles on viruses and avoiding them comes to fruition for some. One of my biggest headaches from my network admin days was trying to keep the geniuses in sales from opening all the spam and crap they'd "unknowingly" signed up for. It really is rather disturbing how flat out dumb some computer users are about keeping their systems clean and operational.
Wow! That's really intense. With all this talk that it doesn't really do anything other than increase in strength... It really makes you question, what will it be capable of doing once it has increased in strength.
Interesting read. It reminds me of the "Live Free or Die Hard" storyline. Maybe the "cyber-terrorism" deal that the crazies were talking about might actually happen...?
Not that I'd mind a bit of Mack-Truck-fighting, fighter-jet-exploding, fire-sale-having excitement.

Cyber attacks would be a very important type of warfare against a tech society like ours.
