What you get to do every day
* Develop rich and highly interactive Ajax & JavaScript applications and frameworks for the web and other connected devices, employing the latest technologies in web, games, and enterprise software
* Full-cycle software development in an agile environment, including analysis, design, programming, integration and testing, and product release
* Collaborate with interaction designers, HTML developers, product managers, and back-end engineers to build cutting-edge web clients as a part of a larger game and publishing platform
* Develop software prototypes, evaluate emerging software technologies, and evaluate third party solutions
* Be the resident web client engineering expert
* Establish and promote software engineering best practices and mentor junior engineers
What you bring to the job in your professional toolkit
* BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering and a minimum of 3+ years software engineering experience with 2 of them (minimum) developing web software
* Hands on experience with OOAD, debugging, testing, consumer-facing application development, web frameworks, cross-browser compatibility issues, and web servers
* Expertise with Ajax, Javascript, DOM, HTML, CSS, XML, web services, and at least one server-side web scripting language
* Familiarity with software development processes and the software product lifecycle; preferred familiarity with agile processes
* Preferred familiarity with performance analysis and tuning, quality of service, scalability issues, enterprise systems, and software localization
* Preferred familiarity with application development for mobile devices
* Able to work in a team to rapidly produce prototypes and iterate quickly
* Able to meet deliverables and drive your work to completion within specified timelines
* Great communication skills both written and verbal
* Can work cross functionally in many areas without being constrained by your job function
* Collaborative, upbeat, work ethic where you can take ownership and have fun
* Passion for creating great software
